Several reviews mentioned the X Files etc. I being big fan of the X files I looked forward to reading this book . I am not a fan of the Twilight Saga's and do not find entertaining stories that Werewolves , which we all know there is no such thing, become hero's and can function in normal society let alone become an agent for the FBI. I have a good imagination but I could not wrap myself around this book. I am just glad the Kindle addition was free. Twenty percent to the book, I had no clue what was going on with Donovan and had to Google the book for a better explanation and read a lot of the views. I know normal FBI agents who are smart and well trained would never act the way Elise and Donovan do in the book. A lot is written but very little accomplished. It is like it drag on and you can read several pages and get no where.It is hard to imagine how Elise is so trim and in shape considering how much they seem to eat in the book. There is very little actual professional investigations laid out in the book and the two agents do little if any brain storming. I personally think it was poorly written. One had to read to much to get to a small point. It could have been shortened and made more to the point. We all know people who can say a paragraph worth of speech on to get a sentence worth of information out. I rarely do not stop in the middle of a book and try to trudge on and finish it but I stopped on 1/4 the way into it and deleted it. I do not recommend this book
